what happened to chivalry?
... even though the woman are catching up with their ways of the world, I'm sure if I were a man I'd feel the same way about relationships with woman. But, I do believe men have certain responsibilities to treat woman with the most respect.
It's mainly a trust thing to me, since some of you know that I have been through a lot of tough crap in my life, that a lot of people don't know about, it's safe to say that I am a doubter when it comes to trust. And you'd have to agree I have good reason. No, I'm not talking about being dumped...or, not getting a long with my parents. So anyways...here is my spill.
FIRST: Pornography
Yeah, it might not seem like a big deal to a lot of you, but to me it's
huge. A lot of woman out there are insecure about their bodies, from media references and such. So to me it's weird that a woman, wouldn't care that her husband, boyfriend, whatever, is out there looking at sexywoman from magazines and Internet sites, withhotbodies. No I think they do, their bodies are not nice enough, their husbands aren't loyal enough, it's seriously not right. I don't get why looking at hot naked ladies that you don't know anything about for pleasurable purposes became civil. Someone who doesn't get why it's such a big deal, please contact me with your reasons.
And for the people who think it's not a big deal, here is some info for ya,The No. 1 search term used at search engine sites is the word sex.Users searched for sex more than other terms such as "games," "travel," "music," "jokes," "cars," "weather," "health" and "jobs" combined. The study also found that "pornography/porno" was the fourth-most searched for subject.

A 2000 MSNBC.com survey found that as many as 80 percent of visitors to sex sites were spending so much time tracking down erotica on the computer that ,they were putting their real-life relationships and/or jobs at risk. "Until they discovered cybersex, most of these people had no problems with sexual addition", according to the surveys author, Al Cooper, a sex therapist at the San Jose Marital Services and Sexuality Center in San Jose, Calif.
77% of online visitors to adult content sites are male. Their average age is 41 and they have an annual income of $60,000. 46% are married.
Forrester Research Report, 2001
And then my personal favorite,
In a Kinsey Institute survey, male respondents were asked "Why do you use porn?"
72% said they used porn to masturbate/for physical release.
69% - to sexually arouse themselves and/or others.
54% - out of curiosity.
43% - "because I can fantasize about things I would not necessarily want in real life."
38% - to distract myself,
Awww...ain't that
sweet?
Yes, I understand it's human nature to be disgusting sometimes, bu seriously, we live life with rules to control ourselves, and not to be so selfish. It's not always about ourselves.
SECOND: Abuse
In any way, shape, or form, it happens.
Estimates range from 960,000 incidents of violence against a current or former spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend per year to three million women who are physically abused by their husband or boyfriend per year.
Around the world, at least one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during her lifetime.
Nearly one-third of American women (31 percent) report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives, according to a 1998 Commonwealth Fund survey
This one is sad,
On average, more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in this country every day. In 2000, 1,247 women were killed by an intimate partner. The same year, 440 men were killed by an intimate partner.
THIRD: Lust/Divorce
I don't really need to find any stats for this one because the past two make it clear that a lot of relationships aren't based on
true love
to begin with. And then the fact that men have huge sex drives...and 69% need magazines to arouse themselves.
22 percent of married men have strayed at least once during their married lives
44% of 9.9 million women in divorce are not awarded child support, and 12% did not receive awarded support.
And for those woman who are not getting their support, and trying to feed families of their own,
More progress has been made for women, but
most women continue to work in jobs stereotyped as female jobs, and women in nearly all job categories receive less pay than males in those job categories. Women face limits on promotion to high level management positions because of conscious and subconscious sex bias, and continue to experience sexual harassment on the jobdespite increased employer awareness of an employers obligation to take preventive and corrective action. Pregnant women suffer from discrimination in hiring, promotion, and job performance evaluation because of false assumptions about their ability to work, and women with family care giving responsibilities are disadvantaged by employer insensitivity to the family responsibilities of their employees. Women of color are particularly vulnerable to discrimination in the workplace because they face a combination of racial and gender barriers.
and another little fact for ya,
Although half of managers and professional specialists are women, only 16% of officers in Fortune 500 companies and 5% of top earners are women.
Extra-marital affairs remain biggest cause for divorce as major increases in family strains and emotional/physical abuse also cause more splits, with the majority of men using infidelity.
